At Lotus we are now offering our Outreach service. This is now our 3rd month offering our outreach service and in this time we have planned and completed multiple successful trips/sessions. At outreach our aim is to offer your young person the chance to access the community and create friendships outside of their usual social circle, as well as using this time to explore, learn and access different spaces in their own community and further afield.

 Each session is planned with each young person in mind, ensuring an equal opportunity for all involved to be able to incorporate their own hobbies and interests in our sessions. In the past few months, with the guidance of our young people we have planned and enjoyed sessions out seeing farm animals up close and personal. For some of our young people this was met with open arms, but for our thrill seekers we offered a bit more of action packed trip out. Alton Towers was a day out to remember for our young people who had an adrenaline filled day with their friends. Not only do we offer the usual 9am-5pm sessions, but with communication with our young people and their carers we have been able to plan evening sessions to allow us to be able to enjoy bonfire night at Tamworth castle firework display eating hotdogs and enjoying the beautiful sights. With outreach the possibilities are endless, our priority is creating a happy and supportive environment for our young people to thrive in and as they say, the more the merrier.
