The Lifeskills and Independence Programme explained

The Lifeskills and Independence Programme is a personalised support service for young people aged 11 to 25 who have SEND. The programme is tailored to meet the unique needs and aspirations of each participant, guiding them in building the skills necessary for daily life and future opportunities. It’s all about giving young people the tools they need to thrive independently, feel confident in their abilities, and take part in their community.

Who can join the programme?

This programme is open to young people aged 11 to 18 with SEND who live in Staffordshire. If your child is aged between 18 and 25, they can still take part if they have an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and are not already accessing Adult Social Care services.

If you think this programme would be a great fit for your child, we encourage you to apply today. You can find the application form and more details here.
